The store and café is a unique hub for travelers from across the globe and people of the local community. The staff are always friendly and have shown me personally such kindness...I always find it an uplifting place. If the store doesn't have it ... Well you likely don't need it! As well as serving delicious food cakes and an array of hot and cold drinks there is a fascinating selection of local history books. With seating indoor and out the setting is simply epic. The mountains behind quickly reach their dizzying heights from sea level and provide an imposing backdrop. I've included a few photographs taken directly outside. And if you do visit, don't forget the simply amazing ancient open air place of worship, a five minute walk away. The café doesn't admit dogs inside but they are very welcome as Nesta will testify if only she knew how, perhaps the photos do that for her... However dogs are always welcome and there are always water bowls at the ready outside.
Great spot for freshly cooked bacon rolls and coffee in the morning. Lovely staff who do everything from cook and make coffee to making sure the store is replenished. Great range of craft beers from local breweries to take away as well.
Great coffee shop and store with fantastic views. Very friendly staff serving great lunches. Lovely carrot and sweet potato soup today with the most amazing bread!
Been visiting here for quite a few years now and I've always admired the hard work the owner and her team have put into making this a place well worth visiting. It's always well stocked with essentials and quite a few items to treat yourself with when you're on holiday. The views from the cafe section are second to none see the photo I've added. Good place to watch the rain outside too if you're unlucky with the weather! On our visit last week we had coffee and tiffin tray bake on three separate occasions. Bit greedy I know but it was outstanding. Definitely the best coffee in Torridon in my opinion and far superior to the coffee you get in most places. We enjoyed it so much I bought a bag of the beans to bring home with me! For our journey home we bought soup and sandwiches and although it was simple fare it was absolutely delicious and a fitting end to our trip. Highly recommended...
Very nice local store with a wonderful community vibe. Stop in for a great cup of tea and scones, or a simple lunch. They also do take away food if you’re headed up the hills. Selection of basic groceries with a few treats and lots of handy things for camping/hiking. Fire wood available and take away liquor. Postage stamps available

Great shop and cafe with a brilliant selection of fresh food and beers. The food from the cafe was great, the cheese and haggis toastie was great. The tables outside were perfect for making the most of the sunny weather.
Beautiful little Café with essential supply's store. Nice coffee and even nicer Carrott cake. Friendly place to sit and watch the world go by.
