This one was unexpected find in our NC500 tour. Very cozy, small, cute design place with excellent food. Everything is fresh and SO tasty! Plus, what is very rare on this island, as everything is just huge pile of meat and chips, here we've managed to get proper amount of raw salad and cabbage salad, what was fantastic addition to tasty sandwiches and chips. Great place. Love it!
I just love places like this one small, cosy and the food was excellent!! Fresh bread, toasted with a bit of fresh oil and poached eggs so yummy!! We were lucky to have sunshine and the opportunity to sit outside. But also indoors it looked great
Stopped for a hot drink and soup after a cold and windy drive on the NC500. An excellent lentil soup, well spiced/salted, with *homemade* fresh sourdough bread. Considering it’s the tourism off-season I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail here. Interior of the cafe was very pleasant and cosy. Coffee was good - specialty roaster in Inverness. Would thoroughly recommend!
Brilliant coffees and fresh baked breads. We had the soup and the pulled pork sandwich both were fantastic.
Really lovely little café, worth going out of your way for. We had the soup + sandwich combo options and weren't disappointed at all. The soups were hearty, healthy and certainly seemed ultra fresh. The bread used in the sandwiches was wonderful and clearly baked in-house. Fillings plentiful too. Even the coffees and cake we had were great, would highly recommend for anyone and everyone. The only one small feedback I would have is to slightly extend the sandwich options if possible. When we went they had about 3 options on the menu, all of which seemed quite similar, but perhaps 5 options would be about right and remain manageable for them.
Have been quite a regular customer to this delightful little cafe, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the food, cakes, teas and coffees are delicious. You might have to wait for a table to become free, but it's worth the wait!
What a hidden gem, underrated to say the least a definite stop on the NC500. We had been on our motorcycle stopping at various cafes and nothing has hit the spot quite like this. The freshly made sourdough bread, the homemade chips the selections of teas are all excellent. My wife especially enjoyed her London Fog Latte. The price and quality were excellent ! Get there quick as it’s only a small cafe. Thank you!
Called for some lunch here today, it was lovely. Quaint off the beaten track Cafe at the end of the Loch. If your doing the NC500, make this place one of your stop off points.
We were camping locally so nipped in here for some food. The menu is very simple so we had a sandwich which was lovely. The guy working there is very pleasant. Quite a small quaint little place but glad we went.Food: 5/5
Absolutely delicious food and coffee! We stopped for a quick snack but ended up staying for coffee and cake too. There's was great vegan and vegetarian options and all of it was amazing! Everyone was friendly and the place is very cosy and comfortable and there's outdoor seating too. We would definitely stop here again if we come back!
