I love this place so much! It has massive character and always makes me feel like I’m abroad on holiday. I sincerely hope that the HS2 route doesn’t mean that this place will get demolished, as is being proposed, because if that happens we’ll have certainly lost a truly cultural experience, as we seem to be doing all across London. So many places to eat and drink. If you’re not going away this Summer, take an afternoon off and spend it wandering around this amazing place - you’ll feel like you’re in an amazing world. Love, love, love this place!
Lovely market! A real gem in Tooting. There’s a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from and staff working there at each stall are not pushy with you to have their food. There’s two separate entrances and both of the entrances serve Chinese food as the first stall you see. It’s got an intimate vibe as you walk along the narrow “roads” within the market.
A great place for lunch or an evening meal. Lots of vendors serving great food. Prices vary but generally are good value. Located 5-10 minute walk from Tooting Broadway station.
Love Tooting Market. Its one of the oldest indoor markets in South London. It now has a lot of dine in restaurants offering a variety of food including Korean, Chinese, Artisan pizza and more! Shame its been gentrified so much but still a great place with a great atmosphere.
So much fun with all the choices for food. Very warm inside also. I like the market and would definitely good back again to try the Mauritian restaurant.
Love this place full of great vibes and cute lil shops and restaurants! Looks deceiving from outside. Quite big and nice food places with quality meals and reasonable prices! Those lil fabric shops have certainly things that we struggle to find on high street!! I really needed new net curtains, did three trips to Dunelm to no avail. Even though I was told they have deliveries on Wednesdays. They didn’t have what I needed. One trip to this market and I’m sorted!
Love love Tooting Market! From the best delicious curry at Dawat, to brilliant burgers from Boombap, to amazing meat from the Argentine butcher & don't forget Stanards since 1966, to super fresh and ravishing raman at Koi Noodle, and in the Broadway market superb sushi at Nori Sushi. And all under one or two] roof
Great place with lots of variety stores. Some are absolutely amazing but a few leave a little to be desired. Overall a great place to go out and enjoy. Stop by the Graveny bar for the best London dry gin.
Tooting market has changed over the years mixtures of grocery. Ethnic food, Restaurants wine bars, Beauty salon a bit clothing pet shop etc you get what I am staying. Its vibrant The market itself is quite old still has the old interior and features. Nice to shop or for a glass wine and a bite to eat. Some places take both cash or card toilets are on the premises. Something for everyone.
I recently visited Tooting Market, and it was an incredible experience. The market is full of life and color, and the atmosphere was really vibrant. The variety of shops and stalls was impressive, selling everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, to clothes and jewelry. Many of the vendors were knowledgeable and friendly, and I had a great time browsing and chatting with them. The food stalls were also great, serving up delicious dishes from all around the world. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Tooting Market.
