We were there for a family birthday with a table of 12. We booked for 5pm & we’re advised they needed the table by 7pm. We were fine with this. The staff were all over us serving drinks when we arrived but it took some considerable time for them to take our food orders. To the point where we actually said “look we don’t want any more drink, just serve us our food.” We’d only just finished our mains by 7.10pm & some of our group wanted desserts. Again we were asked about more drinks which we refused and asked for dessert menus. Finally got & just wanted the bill after that. We had to ask 3 times for that too.

It seemed clear they were trying to get as much drink costs from us & then almost abandoned our table after that.

Ruined a reasonably good meal & really wish they had stayed at the Calderwood Square where the atmosphere was much much better. The new location is far too large & absolutely no intimacy or atmosphere.

Lovely dinner, went with some friends and the kids.
Kids meals were big portions and included a drink and pudding for 5.50. We had the sharing BBQ starter which was amazing and filled me up more than I was expecting.
The staff were brilliant very cheerful and good with the girls, especially since they were scrambling around the booth we were in.
The building has been done up recently and look beautiful, they're still working on one or two areas I think.

Love the food!! Staff always seem a little stressed.. but very polite.. love going when i can afford it.

My daughter and I simply love this place. The food is fresh, service excellent with a lovely ambience too it.

Don't even desrve 1 star for the service.. managers were very rude.. we booked a table for a friends birthday dinner there were 22 of us.. walked in door no one even took us to our table we asked where it was and they looked at us as if we were aliens... and said up the back in a rude manner.. then they rushed 22 people together told us we couldn't use table beside us even though no one even used it the whole night and there was plenty of other tables in the restaurant.. the manger was yet again very cheeky about this and half table had to sit there dinner in the middle of the 2 tables joined together, the dinner was very uncomfortable being so squashed together. Think its ridiculous we spent £470 to be treated like this and also ruined our pals 40th birthday night! Won't be booking any events with them again.
