After falling downstairs attempting to catch train, I was treated by immense kindness and expertise by the staff at Tonbridge station and also two passerby who gave great comfort. They called an ambulance, but not needed in the end as I desperately wanted to get to London. After assistance both on the train at Tonbridge and off the other end at Charing Cross, I was able to complete my journey. Many thanks to all concerned........you are all stars!
Not good unless you want a free trip in the ambulance to the hospital with lung cancer if so you are in luck. outside the station you would think a steam train has just gone through the amount of smoke is blinding beware of pikeys as they use this fog to steal your possessions I'm pretty sure it's this station that contributes 25% of global warming just passing the station reduces your life expectancy by 50 years.........
Great link to both Central London and Gatwick, as well as Eurostar from Ashford. Most staff are friendly and helpful. Price of water and tea could be lower to serve locals - it's currently London price.
Good links to London and the rest of Kent. Has excellent coffee shops and is just a few steps from the high street and a 5 minute walk from the park, castle and pool.
The trains are fine I have no problem with delays ever so often but the staff that served me were grossly rude
