Went on Saturday night Jubilee weekend with a friend for dinner. All of the food was very good- in particular the corn "rib" starter and the rack of lamb was perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly, helpful and always available when needed. The ambience was lively and fun. There was a live singer Sammie Jay who provided quality entertainment. Will definitely visit again
Attentive service, delicious food with a great range of options. Reasonably priced for the quality of food. Atmosphere is relaxed but also fitting for a special event or occasion. From start to finish was a perfect service. Very warm and welcoming people. The food taste as good as it looked. Every thing was cooked spot on. Definitely one for a taste bud tingler. Cocktails were great. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for.
My family liked the food more than I did, but it is a nice place to visit. I love the decor and the atmosphere is fantastic.
Had Sunday lunch there on 24 Oct 2021. Just loved it. Had the beef joint with all the trimmings. It was fab, you definitely won't leave hungry. By the way, they did bring extra Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese too.
Visited TDH on a Sunday. Got seated immediately. We ordered a roast dinner platter with all the trimmings and lamb shoulder for £100. On the pricier side. This platter is good for 3 people. It was so delicious but slightly over oily. The cabbage and sprouts are to die for! The meat falls off the bone & is tender and juicy. I ordered a champagne cocktail expecting it to be a bellini or something creative but it was underwhelming and literally a glass of sparkling wine with a brown sugar cube plopped at the bottom of the glass. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. They kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything & if the food was good. Drink service was veryyyy slow. Interior is so pretty! I would go again to try their seafood; I've heard great things
Fantastic food, great ambience. Often times we focus on the service from waiters, the food etc, but for me the unsung hero of this establishment is surely Daisy behind the bar. Lovingly preparing the drinks, her warm and welcoming smile is as intoxicating as the cocktails she prepares. Thank you Daisy!!
Food was really really great, service was TERRIBLE not for lack of staff just clearly not trained or interested they then charge 12.5% service charge. A lot of the menu options were unavailable. It was ridiculously loud that you couldn’t actually talk to your friends on the table and that’s coming from a 30 something! Shame ruins the good food!
Really delicious well cooked food. The fish dishes were especially good. Welcoming atmosphere with great service and attention to detail. You can eat 3 courses or just have wine and Nibbleinis which are a bit like tapas plates.
Visited for my partners birthday tonight and I had to say the service was amazing from start to finish they couldn’t do enough for us nothing was an issue the food was delicious the restaurant is a really nice place to spend the evening. Kid-friendliness: Good kids choices paper and colouring pens no issue with kids moving around the place really good
