I love this quirky little museum. Right on the harbour, two small rooms packed full of information. Loved the gramophone playing and welcoming volunteers. Please don't change!

Situated in one of the oldest buildings in Stonehaven, the Tollbooth specialises in locally caught fish (though they do have a few non fish dishes on the menu too). With langoustines and lobsters from Stonehaven Bay, the produce could barely be fresher. Good for weekend lunch as well as a 'posh' evening meal, the restaurant has views over the harbour. Bear in mind the entrance is up a flight of stairs so it might be tricky for someone with limited mobility.

Very nice museum, it's only two rooms but full of items. Free entry, it won't take much time to see everything. Great collection of geodes
