Here at Toby Carvery Thanet, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly.

Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Ramsgate's favourite carvery restaurant.

Always a lovely atmosphere in here, staff is super friendly especially Lorraine she's a sweetheart. Can't fault the food either especially for the money! The toffee apple crumble is one of the best crumbles I've had.
Well,we're do I start, popped in with my partner on the way home, decided on the Roast ,after viewing the menu.nThe meat with at the time 3choises of meats, starting at the veg the inconsistency of the heat rack,meant if veg had come out ,straight from the kitchen hot fine, but 4veg were sitting under the heated lights,and were just about warm!!nYorkshire pudding was soft and soggy, had to ask the carver of meats to put it into the microwave oven to make it hot!nThe pots of gravy weren't that hot either.nSadly I have to give it only 3star rating.nIm sure there is room for improvement for customers satisfaction.
Took my dad here today and it was absolutely exceptional. We were served by Lauren who was fantastic and very attentive. We were well looked after and will definitely return again soon. A special mention to our carver also, Ibrahim, who was very friendly and provided all four meats which were superb. Thank you.
Decided to go to the Toby today as we hadn’t been in a while. As soon as we walked in we saw Shelly and asked if we could be seated in her area, was taken to a lovely window table. Shelly came and took our drinks order. Mum wasn’t sure what drink she usually has but luckily Shelly remembered and reminded mum. Told us that we could go up and get our food once we were ready. Food was very good. Shelly was very attentive and her usual cheerful self. Would highly recommend trying the Cauvery. See you soon ShellynNeil and Sue
