Here at Toby Carvery Thanet, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly.

Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Ramsgate's favourite carvery restaurant.

Lovely lunch with the mrs at Toby Carvery today. Enjoyed a lovely carvery, perfect turkey and pork and a vast selection of veg. Extra pigs and blankets on the side don’t hurt nobody either. Spot on.
First time here. It's absolutely perfect to finish our mums day out. Great service from start to finish. A god selection at the carvery, weight watchers members gets you 25% off, which is great and refillable soft drinks. We didn't manage deserts, the carvery was enough for us. Perfect.
Went on a busy sunday so long wait which is expected. Lovely staff snd good food - bitter peas though. Had pudding and the rice pudding is £5!! For about three spoonfuls - more jam and water than pudding. Foul.nDecent other than that.
Table was booked for 4pm for 9 people, restaurant was quiet but our table was not ready! Why? More than enough staff, with 2 ladies stood at the reception area chatting!nWas great to get 25% off the bill via the appnCould improve the cooking time of roast potatoes, VERY well done - dark brown . Cauliflower cheese overcooked and dry as was the macaroni cheese. Meats were lovely though and we all had different.
Always love coming into the Toby carvery Thanet with the family..nToday Lorraine was our waitress - she was polite, kind and extremely attentive to our needs. she used her experience and initiative to be visible to our table and offered my son a chair to give more space on our table - without asking!!nnShe kindly spoke and made our visit a pleasant one and by far the best server/ waitress we have ever encountered in the years we have been coming here.nWe know anybody who encounters Lorraine won't be disappointed.nnWe certainly can't wait to come back to Toby carvery Thanet where we know the food is freshly cooked and tastes amazing and hopefully we'll be served again by Lorraine.... Here's hoping!nnThanks to all the chef's at the carvery too and the kind soux chef's serving our plates of carvery...nnFabulous professional people
