Wonderful afternoon drinking outside the pub, decided to stop for dinner as well because the weather was so good! Food is fantastic here, value for money and delicious! Vegan options are limited no dessert available but other wise a great place for all the family!
This has to be the best value for money food in Thanet we were back in here again had a starter of the 80's classic prawn cocktail, chicken Kiev cod n chips,veg, sticky toffee pud n cherry cheesecake, fantastic staff,please if you haven't been give it a try but be careful,,it's a big plate of food!,
Love this pub very local to me and easy accessible. Car park was almost full very lucky to find a free space. Booked a table for 6 people family and met up in the car park. Pub was very busy , function room booked and sounds of happy children could heard . Sat at our table and was immediately looked after by the kind and caring staff. Atmosphere is always friendly here and you are made to feel welcome straight away . Ordered drinks and food which was served at a reasonable waiting time. Food was well presented and tasted good . Generous portions both dinner and deserts . Children’s play area was clean and safe . Lovely afternoon spent here with family not been here for a little while . Covid rules applied hand sanitizer everywhere. One thing I have to mention is the Tikka Malsa is not what I expected it was flavourless and served with the wrong rice . Aldi’s own frozen curry tops the Racing Greyhound version. Sorry but bland .
First visit was really enjoyable. Warm friendly atmosphere and great, attentive waiting staff. Menu offerred good choices at competitive prices. The food was delicious with excellent portions. Just one disappointment....... we couldn't manage a dessert, which seeing other tables' choices, looked superb. We'll be back guys, thank you.
Nice friendly staff providing quick service. My Thai veggie burger was delicious. I've been twice and will definitely go again. The only downside for me is there's not much choice for vegetarians hence 4 stars instead of 5
Had a gorgeous meal here today. Xmas decorations looked amazing and with the hideous weather outside made it extra cosy. I was sorry to go home to my undecorated house and reality . Fantastic staff, gorgeous food and so reasonably priced for such a feast . Perfect
Met for a girlie get together five of us,had a great meal,there was a good choice on the menu for mains and desert's,the area around the table is a bit tight by the bar,it had been decorated already for Christmas and it was brilliantly done very festive.....have been here before and would go again.
Had a great meal with our friends in a very friendly pub with a happy atmosphere it was very busy but didn't stop the staff having time to stop and chat and make us feel welcome . It was our first time but certainly won't be the last . Thank you .
Rubbery chicken. My chicken was not cooked correctly. Microwaved I believe. Sent it back however my husband wasnt offered a replacement too so we could eat together, he had pie, so he ate alone and I had nothing as they offered to recook the same piece of chicken. Shame as our local pub and had previously had this meal correctly cooked. Was offered another meal to be fair but still would have been eating seperate. I get that they were busy but it's still a meal we are paying for. No further apology was offered than the chef said its cooked.
Lovely food, great service an friendly atmosphere Debbie and Keith leave customers wanting for nothing
