Easy location to get to for a weekday visit for a birthday lunch. Free car park at rear wasn't busy but restaurant was. Seated quite quickly considering we hadn't booked. Waitress service was very good and food tasty. Price was very reasonable for the amount we ate and refillable drinks.

Was with a group of friends, wanting a quick bite before a walk in the park, ordered sandwiches, when the waitress brought them, we all had something missing from the sandwiches..(horseradish and beef sandwich- the horseradish was missing.., turkey and cranberry - the cranberry was missing..!?) One of my friends ordered salad, got something totally different than what was in the menu. She did not have to pay and the waitress was very kind and apologetic to all of us.....but this was my first visit to Toby, and based on the quality of food, I will not be going back...

Have eaten here three times. On each occasion they ran out of food items and there was an extended wait. The Toby carvery at Langley is a mile better.

Food looking tired, not the best of meals I have had here. The bitter shandy was awful so watery. The staff uncommunicative, I wasn't asked if I wanted my bill it was just dropped on my table. I decided not to risk a pudding I didn't want another disappointment. I have always had a good meal here and good service what a shame.

Booked for a 21st birthday for my son who is vegan. No celebration decorations as promised. Chef (man in whites?) tried to put cauliflower cheese on the steamed vegetable plate, the unglazed cauliflower eventually served was still partially frozen. We chose this restaurant for our special meal as it catered for everyone including my 97 year old grandmother. Even the red wine was served cold. All in all a disaster
