Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Christchurch's favourite carvery restaurant.

Visited this week for a carvery, very friendly staff with covid safety being taken seriously. Food was very good and delivered to the table. All staff were refreshingly bubbly and helpful. Good prices as well, two-courses and a bottle of wine for under £40.00.
Good value good Sunday lunch. pile your plate up with vegetables and chef was not stingy with the meat. They do have vegetarian options but not needed really with a veg only plate. Don't allow dogs here but we were in and eat in one hour and very full. Service was excellent.
I love Toby breakfast but its changed a bit since Covid. Your tea is cold before you get your food. If you want another cup you stand in a queue and your meal is going cold. I prefer to choose my sausages and how many beans tomatoes etc I want but these choices are no longer available. Its better to be safe.
The most famous for roasts,,I love it lots every time we go there my tummy gets full up, delicious food and roast beef and turkey
Last Friday my friend and I had booked into the Hinton carvery. Our waitress Carmen explained all the new system to us very clearly. Carmen was a great waitress, very friendly and efficient, a credit to your restaurant. The food was great, and we look forward to a return visit in the future.
Lovely place inside and in a lovely village. Food is really good and nice staff. Covid restrictions obviously in place so instead of serving yourself you choose your meat and veg and then this is brought to your table. Large free carpark outside.
Amazing place. Good food and great staff.
