Always great amazing food but the place does feel kinda cramped. Has a nice atmosphere and we've been multiple times and never experienced behaviour that you wouldn't expect. The staff is extremely friendly and pricing is good. It's a restaurant chain so I understand the more customers the better but they literally could only fit a single more table if they eliminated the reception entrance.
Service was extremely slow. There was a new bar maid in training but she seemed to have little to no support most of the time was occasionally assisted but definitely required far more help than she was being given As a result, service continually took a long time and a lot of explanation even when repeating the same order. I hope for better service should I attend in future as the beer choices were good and it had a nice outside area too
We went for carvery on 21st December 7.15pm, Party of 6, The food was shocking! The roast potatoes were raw in the middle as were the sprouts and the other veg was cold, The beef was so tough we didn't eat it. To top it off there was no gravy!. I've always enjoyed the breakfast here but today 2nd January at 8.45 we was told they had no egg's , a full English breakfast should include egg's, These issues need addressing before I return.
My sister and I decided to go in for breakfast. It was nice and quiet and the food was very nice. We will probably go back again as the buffet style breakfast was nicer than everything you don't like stays off your plate.Food: 4/5
Mel M was great today. She listened to me and understood my situation. Just how customer service should be. Really appreciate being understood and not have my circumstances dismissed for a change. Looking forward to returning again soon.
Absolutely amazing service lovely staff served us all very polite, was my birthday and bought a cake out! Very friendly, food was absolutely fantastic! Good job keep it up! highly recommend Vegetarian options: Very supportive of these options!
Went for an all eat full English breakfast and really enjoyed it, plenty of choice and cooked well. Great at £5.49. served till 11. Something new to me is that they were serving Yorkshire puds and gravy with the brekky Food: 4/5
Roast beef tough and chewy mostly gristle The person carving the meat must have known it was inedible I just thought the knife was blunt..The waitress refunded the price of one of the meals. Won't go back if they are happy to serve poor quality foodFood: 1/5
Orderd through just eat. The delivery time was good. But this was the only thing good. They didn't read the notes we left for the order so 2 of the 5 were wrong. OK mistakes can happen. But the quality of the food and preparation was terrible. Bacon very fatty. Potato's just a mush, mushroom very undercooked. Every thing swimming in water, witch a guess the undercooked mushroom are left in after the are "cooked". Finally, everything very cold. As I say we got it deliver so not expecting it to be pipping hot but at least warmat.
We come every week for Sunday lunch so thought I would bring the family for the Xmas 2 course menu. I asked if I should bring my own crackers with it being a Xmas meal but was assured that they would be set out on the table. There were none and was told they had none no apology. All our starters all came out at different times so we were all eating at different times. Two starters came out wrong and by the time the correct ones came out they had started eating their main course. The bill came back incorrectly on two occasions before the correct one came. The whole experience was very stressful from start to finish and the very reason we decided to eat out was to avoid all the stress of cooking and it's the only time we could all have Xmas lunch together. I've noticed that you reply to good feedback but not bad I'm disappointed as I come for Sunday lunch every week.
