Beautiful place to go for a walk, a cream tea in the garden cafe, or try the canal side cafe boat. There is now a children's play area too. A visitor  centre to look round, and if you are there at the right time, you can see the horse drawn canal boat. You can book a ride. So much to see and do, and swans, ducks and sometimes a heron. What more could you want...

The canal boat concession is now closed for the season but it was great to walk the bank of the canal. Lots of wildlife and fresh air !

Beautiful, peaceful and historic, just some of the reasons I love going on this barge. Been 4 times and never gets old! So much nature to see, things to learn and the crew are bundles of knowledge. Just remember a barge weighs nothing on water ;)
