We love Tiso, Inverness! A fantastic shop, with friendly and knowledgeable staff! A great selection and variety of outdoor brands. The staff provide an excellent shoe/boot fitting service! Always a very welcoming environment with a great cafe and we love to bring our dog there too!
Went to Tiso Inverness Outdoor Experience to buy climbing shoes and a harness for my son. Mark, Simon, Jasmine and another sales person were wonderfully helpful. They were more helpful than any sales person in any similar recreation/sports store in the US, Canada and the UK. Mark, in particular has great expertise with rock, wall and bouldering climbing and provided amazingly useful advice. I highly recommend this shop and recommend asking for the store expert on the area you are interested in if you are not already expert in that area.
I went here to pick up the raincoat I wanted which was sold out seemingly everywhere else in Scotland and then realized I didn’t have any insoles in my hiking boots — and though it was near the end of the day, Ola very patiently took the time to help me try out a half dozen different styles and find the one that fit best. Feet felt great on the hike — thanks, Ola!
Yesterday I bought a pair of walking boots and it was Duncan serving me. He measured my feet, explained and the second shoe fit perfectly! All the time he was friendly, patient and professional. Thank you Duncan!
Always get great service on choosing footwear here. Even long after I've purchased boots I've still been able to come in and get free advice or service for the boots.nWide selection of goods and top quality brands. Of course that means that it can be pricey but you get what you pay for.nIt's also got a cafe that is nice. The cafe is Corner on the Square, which is the same as the one in Beauly.nI'd definitely recommend anyone looking for boots or footwear to come here.
