It was my first time eating out here in years, but the perfect pit stop after drinks, the service was great, the food came in generous portions, hot and tasty. I particularly loved being offered gloves to eat my wings with.Food: 5/5
We dropped in here at 1am for a late night meal and the food was great service was good too. The decor hasn’t changed in the past 10 years plus and it’s looking a bit dated.Recommended dishesCajun Wings, Fries
Basement American diner, staff friendly and food tasty. Kid-friendliness: My son was having problems eating and the waitress gave him a lolly as we left which kept him happy all night! Much appreciated act of kindness
The food is alright, nothing to write home about. For the price vs quality ratio I have higher expectations. Burger was dry and below average, wings similar but the waffles, fries and milkshakes are good. The atmosphere feels very 2002. I think this place is like heaven when you're drunk or needing food late at night but if it's normal time I would personally go somewhere else. PS you need to ask for a key from the staff to use the bathroom.
The "Ambassador" has got to be on your order table. Great atmosphere/vibeFood: 5/5
I ordered a Beef Cheeseburger, peri fries and a Tiramisu Shake. The shake was my fav. The burger was also perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed my meal. I would definitely recommend.
The ice cream was a bit runny already , like melted. However, it still tasted good and the service is good .Recommended dishes
I and my children had a great experience. We went at a quite time. Lovely service great food we all throughly enjoyed it They gave us complimentary cookie dough and ice cream Which was amazing i would give it 8 1/2 out of 10
Really enjoyed myself here. Just to start off we did make a booking online for here but didnt get a confirmation for the booking and online it did say you would have to wait for this for the booking to go through. When we did come on a Saturday evening it was not packed. So we managed to get a table to 6 fairly easily. Waiting staff was really friendly especially the gentleman serving us this Saturday evening. Table was clean, restaurant was clean. And staff were able to make it clear the process of ordering our food. The food came very quickly. The ordering process was very very smooth and quick. The food available was so good. I got a burger, hotdog and chips with milkshake and it was the best hotdog I have ever had. I have no complaints. Every food item was amazing. Everyone was happy. To get to the toilet after 10 you need to ask for the toilet key. And I did need to ask for out lollipops at the end. Which they used to just give to us before.
This is just not good food Used to go to the Hampstead branch as a teenager, and it was never excellent but was always fun and the lower prices actually reflected the quality. This was fun for a bit of nostalgic taste, because god knows the quality hasn't improved over the years. Nowadays, oven chips and frozen burger, and a milkshake without the milk as it was practically frozen ice-cream in a cup, undrinkable for half an hour, all for easily twice the cost of competitors, if not more. No wonder most of these places closed down!
