Lovely circular walk approx 2 miles  , car park not massive so on a busy day probably need to get there early to get a space, was a cold winters day when we went

Free car park. Plenty of spaces even on busy weekends. Good for dog walkers access to the old, ruined mill is from this car park - be warned though it's a very steep path and not great when it's been raining heavily. Short walk up the hill to the village and a good variety of shops, cafes and pubs.

Free car park allowing access to some lovely walks around Hawarden.

It's a great access point to the lovely Tinkersdale and also Harwarden Castle and town itself. It's also great that it's free of charge but it could do with being bigger, especially as you can be blocked in if people are queuing in their cars to use the recycling. I do wish that the marked out car spaces reflected the width of cars now, as you might struggle to open your car doors if people are parked next to you

This car park is access to Harwarden Old Park and the Gladstone Library near by. Lovely castellated entrance to the smallish park but has nice views and a tower ruin!
