I'd love to say go to an independant small local company for shoe repairs. I have to be honest though, the guy in timpson is top of his game, not just locally but the best shoe repairer EVER. Quick, quality and great customer service. Plus he loves dogs 🐶. Winner!

I have been here twice. Gordon is lovely and always helpful. He is incredibly knowledgeable. The store has good opening hours and the service is incredibly fast. This is THE place to get your watches/shoes repaired.

I had heard that Timpsons punched extra holes into belts, and as I'd lost a bit of weight recently, I took my belt to the store to have that done. I expected to be told it would be maybe £5-10 at least, and I could collect it the next week day or something. Instead, they did it within about 30 seconds, and it was free with a £1 donation to charity. I think that's pretty great!
