Just read Philips review this doesn't surprise me we was looking at cars in lot when a car screeched in and the boot opened a young lad was bundled out all laughing went into office . We  couldn't believed they actually worked there?  We were flabbergasted shocked . Also insulted with px and salesman very cocky. 
     We later was told the cafe is owned by same people so not surprised by their actions towards you. Not got the best reputation apparently

Half-way cafe home for us, always managed to get a decent meal and cuppa tea from here. Noticed a change in menu/possible ownership this weekend visit. Still enjoyable and did the trick. Selection of homemade jams and may naive available.

Avoid at all costs.  Bought five drinks there to take away.  Two teas, which tasted of coffee; a coffee, which was instant and made from granules in a jar; a cappuccino which was bland and flat; and a hot chocolate which came with some hair in it.  All in all, a foul and disgusting set of products.  Went back later to make complaint perhaps with the possibility of a partial or full refund.  Instead, was threatened by the aggressive manager-cum-waitress type who not only refused to listen, but also refused to believe.  Was then effectively thrown out of the cafe.  It appeared that she also intended to call the police, although on what grounds I have no idea (customer makes complaint?).  I suspect Lincs Police have better things to do but since my host took my vehicle reg number, I look forward to the appearance in court.  Apparently the cafe gets 'lots of types like me, who want something for nothing'.  Can only assume that the place is consistently awful, and that the staff have annoyed and irritated a lot of customers.  I suspect I'm now banned, but I would consider that a huge advantage.  I have given it one star only because I have to.  It deserves none at all.
