Maf and the team at Afron Timber Co-op are phenomenal. They posses the technical know how, exceptional practical skills and trade knowledge to to deliver the full package at great prices. The quality of the timbers and milling is second to none and the ingenuity and ideas they have are inspirational. Can not speak highly enough of them. Brilliant!!
Arfon Timber supply high quality timber at good prices with expert advice. I have bought timber from Arfon timber for a number of projects and have always been really happy with the product and service. I made my garden furniture using slabs of Douglas Fir which look fantastic. I also built a 16'x8' woodshed clad and framed in larch. Mark helped me with the design and his advice through the project was invaluable. The timber was a joy to work with - in fact I was one joist short, and the replacement from a local builders merchent was so poor in comparison, and more expensive. Look forward to finding new projects to use Arfon Timber again soon.
Needed some wood for a DIY project, the guys were so helpful and I got exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price. I even had a personal tour around the premises and saw some impressive projects they are working on.
I was looking for a local, sustainable supplier to buy charred larch cladding Shou Sugi Ban. Mark was really helpful in offering all the advice that I needed to finish my project. Fantastic service, and I wish the cooperative every success!

Arfon Timber were fantastic! Have just come back from their week long oak framing course and loved every minute of it! I’d recommend them to anyone whether looking for an in-depth educational discussion of timber and construction over a cup of tea or their expertise in building you something new. They’re your guys.
