First of all, they don’t provide any kind of pick up service at all, the most annoying, full of excuse service one can have ever, Period (the Car Rental is far far far far away from the train station)!
Second of... they call you several times to tell you how busy they are, so on, and argue with you on the phone etc..., so... actually they are not busy at all... because they got the time to call telling you that... they don’t provide this kind of service and that ( so you can make up your own mind about it)... the car rental is empty no one is inside of its building (Believe me)...
Third of all... you rent a BMW and they try giving you a Ford Mini Van (a big Ford Mini Van For two people)... then you need to provide reasons, and justify yourself... why you don’t want a big Ford Mini Van... then they give you a BMW but a manual one... 

Note to self... in their policy they actually say if you ring them up in advance, they actually provide a pick up and drop off service, but not on this one ( the roads on this side of the town is empty, so it wouldn’t take them long to provide this kind of service)!

Absolute terrible service. I went in there with all the correct documents required and they came up with the sh*test excuse to refuse me a rental, APARENTLY I wasn't registered to that address when I've lived there for over twenty years. I have 4bills in my name. I don't understand, the attitude of the people there especially the white fella seemed very hostile and shocking, to be completely honest I believe he's a racist scum. I do hope that thrifty doesn't promote that kind of attitude but the way I've been treated at the harrow branch was disgraceful I decided to go rent a car from enterprise who gave me NO hasstle what so ever! Wish I could leave a 0 star review unfortunately I have to give at least one.

Thrifty are a great company but avoid booking late this time of year due to Reg changes they rarely have vehicles available

Rude staff, on returning car, each of 2 people in queue made to pay for ‘scuff on rim’. Seems a little too convenient. Took £85 + £35 Admin fee, so no refund from deposit. Not my first car rental, but certainly my last from Thrifty.
