May just have been a bad day but vehicle not ready and had to wait hours. And then not the vehicle we had booked.

I would have left that no stars as they we simply by far the most unprofessional and rubbish company I have dealt with in UK. They blatantly lied over the phone regarding the hiring vehicle and about their process. When you get to branch the story is something else. Rather then taking responsibility of their screw up, keep putting a blame back on customer.  I am surprised with all these positive reviews given to this company and I believe trust policy one star should have been eating good sign for me, to not to hire the car from this company.  I would simply say avoid them and rather pay extra money for better car hire companies.

What can we say ....they are so nice there .the lady at reception is brilliant and so friendly. We got a upgrade due to a slight mix up Absolutely  amazing car There is a new guy working there also who is super friendly and very professional .  Completely surprised on our experience at Croydon Thrifty . We will definelty  be returning to hire another vehicle with them due to the fab way myself my partner and my one year old were treated  A star service !

I've been a regular hirer but I've just tried to book a car and the website said there was nothing between now and 31/12/22 - please choose another date! The same when I rang them up. So much for customer loyalty.

Dreadful customer service. Arranged to have the hire car collected and took 90 minutes to get through, said they would call back in a minute! Needless to say I called them 2 hours later to be told the car would be collected within the hour!! 2 hours 15 minutes later not a sign of anyone, called again took 30 minutes to be told they will be here in 45 minutes. A phone call would have been appreciated.

I am really grateful to the staff at this Thrifty branch - they allowed us to drop off the van we hired later than originally agreed then checked the van and confirmed it was in good condition very quickly. Great customer service.

Cheap prices. Got an upgrade for free which was great. Very straight forward to hire. Great deals if you pay online.  Edit. They just smashed it out the park. I messed up my reservation and they still found me a car which was an upgrade from what I wanted at no extra charge. Don't know why you would use anyone else.

ABSOLUTE SHOCKING COMPANY wasted 2 hours of my time researching car rental yesterday and eventually I booked something with Thrifty car rental, all went through, to eb advised 4 hours before pick up SORRY WE DO NOT HAVE CARS, our website is wrong or what the website states is different to the local shops. so I one on the website again and there are cars available to book but the prices gone up.

Very helpful after a mix up with pick-up destination. The manager went out of his way to find my a suitable car. Would definitely recommend the branch to friends.
