Went for sauna and steam room, both adequate for the price. Guy at the reception from friendly and professional. You have to pay for a ONE TIME USE token, 0.25p to use the locker, which i think it overkill. The pool is big and maintained will, the changing rooms are also adequate for the numbers they receive, but very little shower facilities, i am not a fan of changing villages. The sauna was hot and busy, and equally the same with the steam room. Overall, you get what you pay for, and i think it's worth the price. One more thing, the male toilets looked unsanitary and needed a clean.
I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated that the air conditioning in the gym has been out of service for months now. Working out in this heat without any AC is completely unacceptable, especially when members are paying over £40 a month.nnIt’s honestly shocking that cheaper gyms like PureGym, which charge around £20 a month, are still able to provide functioning air conditioning while this gym cannot seem to fix a basic issue after months of complaints.nnMembers are continuing to pay full price for a service that clearly isn’t being properly maintained. It’s unfair to expect people to train in these conditions, and it feels like our money is being taken without the facilities matching what we’re paying for.nnThis issue needs to be resolved urgently because the current situation is not acceptable.
It's OK. The swimming area is good but it is usually very dirty in the toilets and changing rooms and people leave their stuff everywhere. The showers are cold and the pool aswell. There are flies in the showers and a dead spider hanged on the roof. There was a moldy and hideous apple in a changing pubicle and when you get changed you still don't feel clean. I don't hate the place but it'd not that good. There is only one excuse it's mini by the way is the area. Thornton heath is quite a bad area with high crime area which I understand.

Karen is a wonderful swimming instructor! nI highly recommend her to everyone. My child with autism has been taking lessons with her, and I can see huge progress. Karen has an amazing teaching approach — she finds the right way to connect with each child.nShe is also a very kind and caring person with a big heart. Thank you, Karen, for your patience, support, and love for children!
