Such an Amazing place! The decor is definitely something to check out and the food is fantastic!! It's so good we went twice on our weekend away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely reccomend the pancake breakfast! (And you get jelly beans with your meal, what's not to love!)

Pros: they serve cocktails with kinder eggs on them.
Cons: the kinder egg was the tastiest part of the cocktail by far. I am not a picky drinker and I have a fondness for the offensively sweet, but even I could not make a dent in the decadent monstrosity badly photographed below.

I do have to commend Thomas's of York for their ingenuity (never before have I seen cocktails that replicate the goldfish bags you could win from fairs in the bad old days) and I would encourage visiting at least once just to marvel at the visual delights they serve, but in terms of taste I was not a fan.

Excellent selection for vegetarians, vegans and carnivores alike. Always seems very quiet whenever I've been in, but that's fine by me! Fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. Food portions massive and great quality. Plant pot mess is ridiculous and great it in equal measure. Friendly staff.

Quirky pub near the minster.. The place is nice but more for a beer or a drink rather than for dinner. There is no table service and the waiter is very nice but he messed up a few orders. First orders arrived very quickly but the others were very slow. Food is good but not special and the menu is wide and varied (also with veg options) but we would have love to see more pub specials, while there are just the basic one

Love this quirky pub. Staff friendly. Look out for Aussie Beau. Lovely lad. Food and drinks reasonably priced with large portions.
