I think the outsourcing of outpatient care for routine stuff from your local GP to places like this has been a hit overall. The motive is more likely to be the GPs being unable to cope rather than the NHS identifying an area of productivity enhancement. Nevertheless if you need blood test results to check if you have some life threatening condition getting it all done within a few days is far preferable to the few weeks it takes at the doctor's. Linaker literally have a blood analysis laboratory on site! Your blood is tested almost immediately. It can get super- busy though. The staff are generally polite and efficient and now the crazy COVID policies have been relaxed the whole experience whilst not often "Enjoyable" Unless you have Munchausen of course, is not often objectionable either.
Just been in hospital - very few patients wearing masks. Masks not being given out at reception but government guidelines are "a surgical face mask must be worn in all parts of the hospital, at all times, unless you are in a single room on your own or you are eating or drinking, showering or sleeping." Hospital not meeting government rules.
Bloods done quickly lady who did them was so sweet minus one star for the rude lady who chose to talk instead of serving in the cafe

Absolutely shocking manners from the horrible old woman on reception..she got told too..And then the nurse in ent..Would rather die than go here again..sort your staff out they need lessons on manners
Tragic! Went for a blood test. The phlebotomist didn’t wash hands after another patient and didn’t wear gloves, does health&safety not apply here???? Also I’ve never experienced more painful blood test, she couldn’t find a good vein and inserted the same needle twice after she was touching it with her hands. My arm is in pain after 3 days.
I had ENT appointment this morning. Excellent appointment with Consultant. Nursing and Reception Excellent. Everyone very caring. Only in about 15 or 20 minutes. After having ENT appointment I called in to the Audiology department to pick up Batteries and to make future appointment. There was a 10 minute appointment available so I was able to have the tubes in my hearing aids replaced. Brilliant service again. Special Thanks to the Audiology Reception Staff member. I think her name was Kath, for explaining everything to me. Well if I could have given both departments 10 I would have given them. It is so lovely when you receive excellent care like this. Thank you to everyone.
Amazing service, seen quickly, car park convenient, reception even had change for ticket machine as I did not, in and out for blood tests in under 30 minutes. Super good!
Go to suite 1 for bloods very often..girl/ lady I see always lovely makes a difference when you are worried about things..
wont be coming here again for a blood test! the woman on reception gave me a ticket and she was letting everyone else go before me she refused to give me another ticket
