Therfield Heath has some fantastic walks in woodland and on hills with views across Hertfordshire. In a fairly flat part of the country, it’s a great place for stretching your legs.

Well it's a car park! It's free, it's gravelly and mind the pot holes...! but I was there to meet up for coffee at the cafe followed by a walk around the heath lovely - good views, beautiful flowers & insects, friendly golfers... followed by lunch back at the cafe v good, friendly staff, plenty of out door seating and covered seating, and there's always the grass!

The car park is not paved, but the gravel is relatively good. It is free. Easy access to Therfield Heath. Plenty of bins to dump packaging and food waste. There is even one bin from McDonald's, which is a short walk away. It can be a bit busy on weekends. A notice board says no liability is taken for vehicles and belongings.

Special place for photography using Macro for butterflies and many other insects along with local animals on the Heath and in the woods with superb walks. Worth investigating if you are interested in the Country side.

Great for everyone, I like the running as so many different routes to be taken meaning you don't get bored. Great views from the top of the hill also great for hill reps when running

So many rats lately. McDonald's need to do more about their bins and make them rodent proof if their patrons insist on eating on the heath.

The Therfield Heath Car Park can accommodate both a full sized family wagon and more importantly, my motorised scooter! I often park my vehicle here and walk to McDonald's across the road - can't have the missus catching me scoffing McChicken burgers after a hard day on the tools!

A lovely view from the car park. Plenty of walking space and a lovely place for a picnic.

Good place to collect your thoughts and have a traffic break. Perhaps a toilet facility would be a welcome addition.

Great place to park your car if you want to get out of it .
