Great outdoors activities place splash park is big enough for youngsters to run around, right next to it there are the new physical exercise equipment that can be used by all ages. Just a brilliant place to be on a sunny afternoon On the nice bright days you get the ice cream van and the coffee trailer turning up to add to the enjoyment
Kids love water so love the Royston splash park. My issue with it is that it should have been cleaned as it's slippery in a couple of places.
Just a lovely park, relaxing and cheery, people getting together sharing a picnic, great fun for kids.
My 2 yo loved it. Could do with more water though. Nice playground next door
Some equipment needs an upgrade. Dead rat under the grate at the entrance to the bigger play area
Very enjoyable for people of all ages however the water is not sanitised but it is sterilised regularly making it clean. Small but good for hot days and a great way to cool down. Ice cream van is often nearby for a treat afterwards.
Nice splash park and playground, with shady areas to dit, kiosk for snacks, drinks and ice cream, and public loos which are usually very clean and have baby change and enough space for parent and couple of kids. Splash park is really good for young kids as quite small but my 9 year old and his friends enjoy it too.
Love having this in Royston, not many things you can do as a family that don't cost anything so really nice to be able to come here.
Nice place to mess about with the kids on a warm day. Plenty of fountains and sprays for them and you to much about with. Two play parks for younger and older children mean it'll keep you busy for a morning or afternoon.
Not that big but enough for smaller kids and a great thing to have in the town. The only concern is that there aren’t actually any barriers between this and the busy road next to the park - basic design flaw really.
