I have been going to this chippy for years since i was a child! And the food used to be spot on in fact I ordered last month and it was as good as alway! But today I placed and order- meal deal one( which is 2x large fish and chips,2x large peas and 2 cans of pop) which is 11.50 and I also order a chip butty at 1.40 this adding up to 12.90 they gave me a quote on the phone saying the price above yet when they come to my door (over a hour after ordering) they charged me 14 pound! I doubted it in my head and paid anyway, when it come to eating my dinner the portion's where a lot smaller than normal and the fish was 1/3 smaller than last time so there was quite a difference!! And the mushy peas were over cooked and we found a hair in the chip butty, I am absolutely mortified with the service, it was rubbish same goes for the food! I almost feel betrayed, the pan used to be the best chippy in town but down it ha's definitely GONE DOWN THE PAN!!! will not be ordering again, it's a discrace!
