It's just a mini supermarket really, the only main shop in the area. It's just a make do situation... in possibly one of the few areas not fortunate enough to have an Aldi. Also being the only shop in the area to sell nappies other than the expensive high brands it would be helpful if you sold 4+ asda little angels nappies.my son needs the inbetween size so 4 is too small and 5 are massive.

Nice local supermarket for bits, don't do a main shop here but usually well stocked for items needed in the week.
Buy Asda steak pie at your own risk. Bought one this morning and found to my disappointment that it contained several pieces of high density gristle not the tender beef that i expected. Asda get a grip of your quality control and put In the pies what we pay for, not rubbish inedible flesh which is as tough as old Rhino hide. £1.20 wasted.
We usually love this store but when my husband went last week, as a vulnerable person he was very concerned that virtually no members of staff were wearing masks!
Went into Asda today and attempted to purchase nappies for my baby. Went to the counter to pay and the women serving asked if my partner had ID as he was trying to purchase a bottle of beer. He stated he hadn't brought his ID with him and that she had served him multiple times before. She then proceeded to say my partner had swore at her and then refused to serve me with my sons nappies. I asked why she wouldn't serve me and what I was supposed to do about my 6 month old baby needing nappies and her reply was "do without, not my problem"! I am absolutely apalled by the customer service skills of this employee and this has made me wonder about doing my shopping elsewhere! Very disappointed as they have always been nice and welcoming. I will not be returning
Stainforth Asda, well what can I say. As Asda goes it's quite a standard small Asda with a good range of goods. Probably one of the smaller Asda stores around but very conveniently sized with good range of stock. Has a hot food cabinet roast chicken, sausages, burgers etc, and also in store bakery. As with most Asda stores the fruit quality is not as good as other supermarkets, but usually OK but wouldnt say much more than that. Always clean and well kept stocked. Self service and serviced tills.
Although the store looks a little uninviting from the outside surrounding area doesn't help its decent inside, clean, well socked and staff friendly. Only used this store a couple of times but much prefer this to other asda supermarkets in the Doncaster area.
All the staff are lovely and very helpful
