In local hotel overnight as lone traveler and decided to come here, The Yorkshire Grey. Chick Flick pizza was delicious! Lovely staff, chilled vibe, lovely decor - kinda modern retro. Music not intrusive. It's lovely to hear people having great conversations. Big screen TVs IF that's yr thing - sound off and 10/10 for that!
I just discovered this great pub on Saturday lunchtime as I walk from King's Cross to Charles Dickens Museum. I order Cod and Chips, as you see from my photos I was very pleased with my lunch. Lovely pub, nice and lovely polide waitress make a great atmosphere. Pub is very clean and tidy. Simply enjoyable Saturday. Overroll great experience and definitely will pop in again.
Was on a little walkabout near where I used to work back in the90's, found the Greys Inn Road and 'The Yorkshire Grey' which used to be a homebrew pub back in the day. Had a lovely chat with the barman and a pint of Wimbledon SW19 Blonde Ale...in an old jug glass!!! Beautiful
Cute little pub but feel like the location is a bit isolated. The service and food was good although they did get our order wrong but we were so hungry we decided to just eat it rather than complain especially as we were the last food order at 8.45pm as they stopped serving food at 9pm, We ordered the vegan burger and beef burger. Both were good. The only thing I would say is that I was forced to order a vegan burger as there is no vegetarian burger option. A lot of places there days feel as if vegan covers both but this is extremely unfair to vegetarians and I think they should offer both on the menu as it is as simple as swapping out the cheese and mayo for vegan cheese and Mayo. The vegan burger also came with nachos instead of fries which was bizarre. I substituted this for chips which they did with no complaints or extra charges. The staff were friendly and the advice was good as the waitress did come to check of everything was ok with our food after 10-15 minutes,
Wouldn’t recommend for food. This was the Earth Bowl costing £13. Yes, that’s one slice of halloumi on the top. Staff were friendly so maybe Ok for drinks but definitely won’t be going back to eat.
We rented a private room upstairs for our alumni reunion of 50 and were so pleased with the space and service we received at The Yorkshire Grey Holborn. Millie on the bar was so helpful, even helping to take photos and videos during the speeches for us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Great place, crowded, but the beers are amazing ok.
Just visited this bar. Never again. Bar staff need to be re-trained or replaced. Arrogant attitude and useless service. Well done chef lovely burger. I think staff are just killing time with no inclination. Entered with around 12 people present and after one pint no-one left in there. Nice pub but think owners/management being taken for a ride.
Best place to stop for a beer in the city centre and they do amazing food. I was in there on Tuesday with my friends. The tall blonde girl behind the bar was extremely helpful and made us feel welcomed. Really enjoyed my time here would definitely recommend!
Great selection of beers and location is spot on junction of clerkenwell and greys Inn road. Had an internal update since last time I was in a few years ago but will revisit
