Visited---twice--- with my wife in July 2019. Great pub environment. Enjoyed a pint or two along with my burger and chips and on my second visit with my fish and chips!. Will definitely return when we get back to London. Excellent!
By far my favourite pub in London. The staff are so friendly and the food is amazing. Visited the champion many times for birthdays, socials etc. 100% worth a visit. The waitress Valerie is my fave.
Booked a week before for Sunday evening 13/12. Easy to book online with a great table position secured. Staff were great and very attentive, even though we arrived 40minutes apart. Burgers were delicious and well presented. I would return...

Great rear garden - outdoor space to relax and enjoy a bite and a tipple. Service was friendly & on the ball ensuring safe Covid-19 routines. A good range of beers on offer and the food was great. Fish & Chips.. perfect. Many thanks to all. Well done....
This is an excellent pub. The interior, the staff, all top notch. Easy to reach due to central line connection. If you visit Hyde Park, don't miss this one!
A bit disappointing considering the history of this pub. Not that I was expecting any rock band memorabilia around but I was definitely expecting good, or at least decent, service. But aside from a great location and character building, the place had little to offer in terms of hospitality. Can do better.
Really nice bar in a great area. Very reasonably priced, but make sure to book. The roasts looked enormous.
It's a great boozer. Only stopped for a drink but liked the vibe. A fine selection of beers too and fruit based drinks for others. Will be back
