Perfect mid week date night. The menu was full of treats not things you could cook at home. The atmosphere is nice and private, you dont feel like you are on top of each other. Great variety of drinks. Lovely staff.
Wonderful! We went for Sunday dinner and they nailed it. Home cooked roast beef with excellent freshly cooked vegetables finished off with a proper sized portion of sticky toffee pudding and a top pint of beer. Oh, and the service was brilliant too. Expectations thoroughly exceeded.
Excellent Sunday Roast ... large portions, great selection. Delicious desserts too. Good service and friendly staff. Had to book on line in advance but this was no problem ... easy procedure. Highly recommended.
Good place for family meals such as Sunday lunches. Not overly sophisticated but staff were helpful and friendly. Food was good quality and nicely cooked. The restaurant is popular so you ideally need to book ahead at busy times of the week.

Awesome cocktails, a great beer selection and fantastic food. A great trip to the York that would make us return in a heartbeat. Fully recommend the black pudding scotch egg and their fish dishes. Honestly fantastic food. Can't wait to return.
