Without doubt the nicest carvery I've ever had. Lot of different options too! Lovely pub with very friendly staff. Loads of room and very well set up for covid. Recently moved to the area and can definitely see us spending a lot of time here!
The food was delicious and the service outstanding! The pub was packed but we were sat down almost immediately and were promptly offered drinks and the menu. Very friendly and attentive staff. Can't wait to go back to try more from the menu

Lunchtime visit. Slight difficulty in communication with the member of staff on floor duty. Carvery food good with exception of the roast potatoes which were nearer black than crispy and golden. Pint of Guinness served that had not settled and a very large head. Would return but expect better.
We were 4 people, we had a lovely meal served to us very quickly. It was a very nice meal. Couple of things that might bring us back again would be the food, the service, very friendly staff. The thing's that we might not come back for is the noise in the area where we had our meal. There were so many many people doing the same and it was very hard to have our own chat as we could not hear our friends all four of us trying to have a chat impossible. Another thing was the parking we had to look for a half hour before we got parking. Personally no worries or cares with the staff or the food. Maybe if you made a deal with the Church across the road to allow patrons to park there or direct them to where they may find some parking. Best of luck to all at the Yellow house.
Had lunch fish special cajun salmon and my friend had the steak burger both meal were lovely and the staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely recommend to others.5 stars.Food: 5/5
Delicious french cuisine. Highly recommended. More of a place for special ocassions. Not what you would expect for a restataunt over a pub, but really delicious.
Was there Saturday for daughters Birthday. Very enjoyable. 11 including 4 kids. Was able to bring cake and they plated up for us. Very helpful and accommodating.
We booked a table upstairs in the bistro to discover the advertised menu isn't available during the week. All we could get was a set meal, options on this weren't great. Went downstairs to the pub and got fabulous pub grub for half the price!
