I first need to preface this post by saying I'm not from Ireland so cultural I'm not so attuned to how things normally are here but the level of friendliness, kindness at The Hazel House was something I haven't seen before. Unfortunately part of my order got missed in the kitchen but the staff was quick to acknowledge, apologize, and correct the mistake. They brought out a cookie as an apology meantime while making my order as well as making the missed piece of my order free of charge and then another sincere apology off the back of that on my way out. On top of the great staff, the location although isolated is right by a green field next to with non smelly nor loud farm animals small goats, and a alpaca, which is scenically appealing. Lastly the food was good from what I had in taste, quality, and proportion metrics.
What a jewel. 5 stars is not enough. I love how cozy this place is. Their personnel is great, taking your order pretty fast and bringing it to your table even faster. Their cookie is superb. Suuuuper tasty, as well as a great coffee. Don’t forget to buy your organic eggs!!
I'm so glad we stopped here. It was a pleasant reprieve from a long hike with the lovely Irish weather. This place is a little tucked away but, its worth tracking down. The mocha was rich, creamy, and smooth. The cakes were top notch and I love that they were served and wood slabs. Wooly also loved the ambiance here.
Gorgeous spot to for a mommy daughter date with my 3year old. She loved the animals sheep, chickens, goats and an alpaca and the little wagon she could climb in and out of was a big hit. Can't beat the view and the food and staff were fab. Can't wait to go back.Food: 5/5

Homely little spot, great after hikes or for a casual country lunch. Menu is standard but well executed and the Hot Chocolate will make the kids eyes pop. The petting zoo is a great distraction, will keep coming back in cold winter days for a nice relaxing afternoon
Place gets more popular and crowded during lunchtime. 3 years ago it was a hidden treasure, quiet spot among the trees. Still great place to spend afternoon in nature, have a coffee and cake. Price wise similar to the city centre coffee shops.
Delicious Food & great coffee. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Outdoor seating is covered and heated. Fleecy blankets also provided for extra comfort. Ideal spot for a bite eat after a hike in the local areaFood: 5/5
So tasty surprise finding this little gem in-between the Christmas and New Years when many places are closed Breakfast and coffee were very tasty . We ordered the eggs on toast with avocado spread and vegan sausage roll. Super fulfilling and tasty . The owners are very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back
