My husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding day at the Yard. I spoke first with Lucy, then Tom and Julio. When the time came, we had an amazing support from them and the entire team. We had the upper floor bar for us and our guests. We brought our own food and decorations and the Yard team were there for anything we needed. That the best team we could possibly have. They are friendly, smiling, great attitude and extremely kind. We are looking forward to celebrate our birthday with them again soon. Thank you guys for being part of our big day.
Very nice place that definitely it’s much better week time so busy on Fridays and Saturdays when it’s just too crowded and it’s just too hard to move around. Really nicely done in a city style that represents night life in a modern but not fancy way with a quite colourful neons way I like it especially for early evening time before 9pm as later it’s just loud place to just talk and it smells like cigarette so it’s healthy style people friendly so 4 stars but still I’ll recommend a bit
It’s no secret that the staff is super rude at The Yard but they’re taking bad service to a different level. I perhaps missed this in the past as I usually drink beer, but they’re serving drinks poured from cans you can get in corner store, charging £15/drink. You cannot really complain as they require payments first and that’s simply what you get. There’s no point to ask them to make you new drink, they simply open another can and pour it into another plastic martini glass. Strongly recommend to avoid this bar, there’s dozens if you need one in the area.
I like this place but are you kidding me on the service charge for drinks at the bar? Just charge that little bit extra if that’s what’s stopping you paying your staff better. It’s almost an insult adding a service charge just to pour a pint, optional or not. This isn’t America and we don’t want it to be.
A really cute location. I didn't eat anything here, but only a stop. Prices are intensive, I would be charged 5% and by my friend 10% service fees, without pointing it out. What a pity.Service: 3/5
A great location for Chilling & Drinks! A lovely Gay bar, all types of people are welcome here too! Friendly wonderful people and workers, a bundle of joy literally. You guys want great vibes come down here! They have 2 floors , 2 bars , 1 terrace and many seating areas from indoors to outdoors. No entry fee Reasonable prices not too experience nor too cheap , it's just right. Recommended to all party/chill goers and especially smokers, lots of outdoor place and ash trays to smoke.
An amazing gay bar. Had so many pleasant memories here. Both great in day and night. Upstairs is usually the best place to go if it's packed downstairs. The staff are super friendly and love having a joke about how hot it is and whether it's just them whose hot. Fantastic experience every time I go!
Great venue but over priced drinks and the rudest staff… been going there for years on and off tonight was without doubt the most unpleasant experience… ignored by bar staff and talked down to ..Service: 1/5
Went here with my girl unknowingly. Then found out that it was a gay bar. But had an amazing time as the atmosphere was really good and also the beers were priced ok than other pubs of Soho.Service: 5/5
I am disabled, I have to have an emotional support dog, registered with the ESA and I carry the registration card with them, today, the manager Julio denied me entry saying that the place did not allow this type of support when I am protected by her registration and confirmation of my disability which is discrimination. Very disappointing to see how a place for a minority group is discriminating against one of their own
