Standard pub, looks like it's been refurbished recently. Friendly and efficient staff, good service. The food is good, a mix of pub classics, the platters for two are good. Dog friendly, so expect your dog to make plenty of new friends. Worth a visit on your way home from Stowe.

Great locals pub. Good atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night. Food good at reasonable price. Hopefully renovation work is finished soon.
