Oh my word. What food? We had a mixed meat dish, lamb and pork. The pub added cauliflower with cheese and the whole lot was out of this world. The veg of which there was loads was outstanding. The meat so succulent.nWe ate in the garden which has a large number of planters and hanging baskets. Myself and two other guests downloaded apps to see what the plants were.nThe best Sunday lunch we have had in years in a very nice and quiet garden
After a long walk at the National trust, we stopped here for lunch and drinks. Lovely atmosphere, food was delicious and our server Emma was extremely welcoming and super helpful! Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.
We visited The Woolpack this Sunday and it did not disappoint. As a regular and fan of the food anyway I was excited to have the carvery and was not disappointed. Everything was cooked to perfection. Plates are big enough to have a mountain of food and guaranteed you will not leave hungry! Our waitress made sure we were happy start to finish with regular check ins and drinks top ups to the table. I highly recommend coming here to experience the food, the service and the atmosphere none of which will disappoint! We will be back very soon!
A lovely little pub in a lovely little village. The food was nice, the staff were friendly, and our dog and little boy were welcome. Decent sized main meals, with small starters, which I suppose is the right way around. No music or entertainment, so the atmosphere is made up of people chatting.nnThe menu we were given wasn't the menu we found on the Google maps listing or on their website, and was considerably smaller, so I'm not sure if this was a paired down menu for a Saturday evening or if that is the menu now. So no steak, which I was looking forward to.nnThe main negative if your not local was parking, which was just on street, and it's a very narrow residential street, so is already very full.nnOverall a nice place.
A beautiful pub in Buckingham!nWe had roast dinner here and the portions were awesome & such tasty food.nThe garden is beautiful with all the flowers outside. You can tell the pub is cared for and loved!nWould absolutely recommend for anyone, suits all customer types :!nThank you for a wonderful lunch and service as always.
