It has lots of useful outlets, including Waitrose, phone companies, opticians and a decent local butcher, plus lots more. But its real virtue is that it is in the heart of the town, rather than some industrial estate miles away.

Good selection of shops with a Waitrose. Plenty of free parking, though this is limited to max 4 hours only.

As a shopping centre it has the perfect mix. You can get meat from the butchers, then groceries from Waitrose. There are card shops, electricals, opticians, fashion stores and in case you get thirsty a couple of coffee shops.
