Story

The Wooden House in Exchange Street, Driffield is becoming well known as a first stop for free standing furniture and household accessories and gifts. The Wooden house also sells a range of it's own handmade items through The Creative Lab in Flemingate, Beverley.
The Wooden House has it's own workshop where we make furniture and smaller items, many of the items on sale in the shop have been designed by Kelvin Lund and made in the workshop.
The Wooden House sells chalk paints and matt furniture paints, these are complimented by our popular in house furniture painting courses. A range of British made paint brushes and also Decopatch paper com[pletes the range of materials needed to revamp and upcycle most old furniture.
The Wooden House sells a range of lamps and lighting both off the shelf and made to order, these feature our low energy LED light bulbs and antique squirell cage bulbs.
For hanging items there is a large selection of antique coat and hat hooks along with Oak and painted back boards, these work well with the cast iron shelf brackets we sell and will create a useful feature in any room.
The Wooden House is able to offer helpul friendly advice and a wide range of products that will help you make your house a home.
