First time here, signed up to support national trust, great cappuccino with home made type lemon drizzle, service was quick, cake was delicious and served quickly and tables cleaned straight away, a credit to wolseley centre, well done Food: 5/5
We love to take our dogs for a walk here and then have breakfast in the cafè. The breakfast is always delicious and we always get extra sausages for the dogs too. The coffees are really good, especially the flat white. Always friendly happy and helpful staff, definitely dog and child friendly. Beautiful scenery.
Great place to visit, very reasonably priced drinks and food, tasted great. Friendly staff, lots of photo opportunities including king fishers if you're lucky. Parking: Parking is paid for as a donation, couple pound covers the entire day.
Took our Granddaughter. Lots of ducks to feed duck food at reception. Take wellies and you can cross the small ford that kids love. Do have childrens activities if check before you visit. Only had icecream as took a picnic but others seemed to enjoy their meals served with a smile. Little shop. Facilities and all on ground floor. Inside or out eating.
Easy parking donation charge only, picnic tables on nearby grassland. Visitor centre, toilets, gift shop and cafe with terrace. Easy access paths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, alongside several lakes and large ponds. This is also a nature reserve, so plenty of wildlife here including ducks and geese which are accessible and human friendly as they like to be fed boxes of wild bird food available to buy for £2.50. More elusive birds here too including the kingfisher which is much sought after by the long-lensed cameras. Very pleasant and picturesque setting.
We had a great visit here. My two children had a great time feeding the ducks and geese. We enjoyed our walk and had a really warm welcome from Nicki as we came in. We went to the cafe which was nice. The opening hours on Google maps were different which was a bit disappointing as we had to wait to go in.
It is generally very busy, so you need to expect to queue for a while to order your food and drinks. There is indoor and outdoor seating areas. The food is served to your table . We had filled Staffordshire pancakes and shared a portion of chips and cappuccinos. The food was good and tasty. Staff are friendly and work very hard.
Visited as a destination, lovely setting with lakeside walks, great cafe with tables outside topped off with a fantastic breakfast sandwich! Good level parking with a donation guided at sensible pricing. Altogether a great visit. Parking: Good level parking with donations to Staffordshire wildlife trust.
Fantastic and well managed site. Huge range of wildlife. Well maintained paths which are mostly accessible to all. Cafe with good service and a ranging menu with plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and helpful and always willing for a chat.
Absolutely beautiful little place to go with the dog and children. Loads of nature to see including a kingfisher which was just lush. Lovely afternoon out. Can take picnics too
