"A very popular local cafe. We pride ourselves on the tasty, quality freshly cooked food that we serve. We can get very busy at times, but we try to always give that friendly personal touch. We are well known for our quality, value for money breakfasts, come give us a try, i'm confident you will go away full and happy."

I am absolutely disgusted, I ordered 2 Canadian steaks and I waited 40 minutes for it and what was served to me was about crying
Nice cafe and decent atmosphere but the breakfast wasn't great especially the sausages and bacon need to buy a better quality of meat and would improve the breakfast so muchFood: 3/5
Ordered a few times takes ages to come or doesn’t come stay away from here they is plenty of others around the area. Always a huge waiting time for a standard sandwich.
Brilliant food for a brilliant price! First time I've been somewhere and when I've asked for some items to be missed off my plate I was asked if I wanted something extra instead off, usually I get "it will cost extra" haha the tomatoes and beans come in pots anyways so if your like me and hate getting everything everywhere it's perfect! Will be 100% back!
Sat for 1 hour 30 minutes and no delivery and can't get them on the phone keep my order I'm going out
First time getting a breakfast from here. Highly recommend and will be using again. Freshly cooked large portion size. Value for money. Waited an hour and not arrived. Rang shop and there was a mix up with delivery address. Arrived 10 mins later, well worth the wait.
Excellent staff very clean friendly wide range of food options
Got a nice sandwich, sausage, two slices of black pudding and beans, cooked really nicely, breadcakes are wholesome aswell, good quality, recommended
I used to eat from here quite abit when it was the old owners but then it went downhill so i thought i try it with the new owners but disappointed to see it still is downhill. On my breakfast i received the sausages still raw and not cooked thorough and the eggs was also missing. i won't upload photos which was sent to their fb page as proof, just be aware and check your meat before getting ill. As i did have one bite of the sausage before realising and it did make me quite ill due to my stomach quite sensitive to certain foods etc so this did effect me quite badly. When i rang the girl whom sounded young wasnt helpful and was trying to offer me 'extra food next time for free'. Which i found an insult, i've paid for cooked food and expect cooked food. and despite them getting a 1star which they claim while they was refurbishing in the media i still gave them a chance and im quite disappointed about this. my review to get awareness out to others whom this may have happened to as whomever the cook that day clearly doesn't know what they are doing. i've been in the food trade for over 9years now and wouldnt dream of letting food go out still raw! lucky it wasnt one of my children.
All I can say is I'm glad we decided to go in here after a night out in Leeds and we weren't disappointed. The staff are a true credit to this place and even though are very busy to keep up with orders coming in for takeaways ,sit ins and deliveries they made you feel very welcomed. The breakfast we had was spot on and we both enjoyed it very much ,honestly you couldn't fault it. I'm sure the rest of the food they serve will be to top class too .I would recommend very highly the windmill cafe to anyone who's in the area either a for a quick bite or a sit in . Thanks to all for a pleasant visit and top food.
