Alex is a very professional and talented chiropractor. She always knows exactly how to make me feel better. Her advice and exercise plans are excellent and she is thorough, attentive and considered. I always know that after a session I will feel better and this is the reassurance I need. Her practice is spotless and superbly managed with very able assistants and her messaging system ensures an appointment is never missed or am I ever kept waiting. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone needing chiropractic intervention. You won’t regret it.
Alex and the team have created a really welcoming atmosphere in their new location in the centre of Winchcombe and it's always a pleasure going in for treatment. Alex has been great at understanding what my goals are for not only recovery but also what needs to be done for me to continue an active lifestyle at the same time! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for treatment or a check up.
I had never been an advocate of chiropractors before I met Alex and became a regular client of hers. I have struggled for years with running and tennis injuries, as a result have seen many professionals of different disciplines to help with my injuries. My back and hip injuries come and go but a couple of years ago culminated in a severe episode of sciatica, which with the help of Alex, was successfully resolved. I now see her every month or so for a maintenance sessions which certainly seems to keep me injury free. Rachel is a new addition to her practice and is a sports massage therapist, she is amazing. I would thoroughly recommend both Alex and Rachel for their professionalism and expertise plus they are both extremely nice, easy to talk to and one always feels nothing is too much bother for them. Alex has been a wonder & I'm so glad I found her. When I first went my neck & back were solid now after several treatments it is SOOO MUCH better I feel normal again. I highly recommend her & now make sure to go regularly to maintain my health neck/back
I was quite anxious about going to a chiropractor as I’d seen videos online with the loud cracks etc. But Alex uses a very gentle method and explains everything really well, also the exercises she provides help hold the adjustments. It also helps that she makes you feel at ease and everyone at the practise is very friendly.
I am happy to recommend Alex Hurley - "The Cotswold Chiropractor", and her team without reservation. The Clinic is centrally located in Winchcombe with ample parking yards away. The Clinic Assistants/Receptionists are all friendly, efficient and polite. Alex is clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. She has an easy, relaxed manner but remains focused and professional at all times. Alex clearly cares about her clients welfare and wants to provide the best chiropractic care and treatment she can for each individual. Alex and the team are amazing, everyone is so welcoming and lovely. Nothing is too much trouble for Alex regardless of whether it is a routine appointment or you have done something silly and needing more attention! If Alex needs to see you again quickly she will find a suitable appointment and work her magic! There is no bone cracking, which for me, is such a relief. A Sonnet to Alex As I traverse the autumn of my years, I find the aches and pains of life encroach Upon my being, and so to stem the tears, I choose a chiropractor to approach. Upon the consultation coach I lay, As fingers climbed the dimples of my spine; A flick, a click along the vertebrae, Years of experience and training all combine. Her voice is soft and softer still her hand As expertly she works to find the place, Then heel and hand and weight and suddenly unjammed, As liberty is restored and with such grace. And all accomplished without a single crack! I can assure you Alex, I’ll be back!
I know Alex for many years but only recently I have visited the clinic for my niggles from years of training. Best thing I could do. I am qualified personal trainer myself and quite keen on mobility movements but recent car & bike crash has triggered more issues. Everyone in her team is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you.
The Cotswold Chiropractor offers a full body 'MOT' using the McTimoney method as part of it's treatment approach. Alex has successfully sorted out an issue with my lower back. She is very knowledgeable and provides supplementary exercises to do at home to reduce the risk of a problem recurring. I would highly recommend her services.
