After seeing it was very busy, I was a little worried, but as soon as I was greeted those worrys disappeared. The waitress was very accommodating with my disability and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to access seating and asking very professionally if there was anything else she could do to support me. So a very big thank you Evan I think, sorry terrible with names for making my first experience so welcoming. Food was great even with the busy atmosphere did not take long to prepare with no issues. I will definitely be back, thank you. Wheelchair accessibility: The waitress took extra time to make sure I was able to access even with it being very busy
Absolutely lovely food and fantastic service. Steak pie was literally FULL of steak, and the mac & cheese was delicious. The waitress Evan did a brilliant job and was extremely polite. Highly recommended the milkshakes and the cake. Definitely coming back :
Great, delicious food. Friendly service at your table. Will def be returning.Food: 5/5
We had Fish Chips Garden Peas & Tartare Sauce The seating area was very clean and the food well presented The meal cooked perfectly the fish coated in a crispy light batter. Thank You Chef also excelent service by the waiters All at a reasonable cost. What more can you ask. We throughly enjoyed our Friday lunch in delightful surroundings. We will most definitely be back Martin & Jacqui.
Stopped off here to refuel during a cycling trip a couple of weeks back. Really tasty fresh food, lovely surroundings and friendly staff. They must get a lot of cyclists because there's a polite notice ont window to remove your cleated shoes before stepping on the wooden floor which is prone to getting damaged, which is fair enough...with recessed SPD cleats you should be fine. Great food, reasonably priced and lovely selection of cakes and pastries.
Lovely setting but quality of the food, drink and service was poor given the higher price. The cakes did look good though. My main complaint is the coffee. Which was VERY poor. Working as a barista for 3 years, one year spent in Melbourne, I have to say the coffee was one of the worst tasting coffee I've had here. The Americano had no crema and was virtually dishwater. For a smaller size of £2.65 I was very disappointed. The cooked breakfast was average with the mushrooms being the cheap white variety which were very greasy. The breakfast was average. The sausage was fairly pleasant. The service was particulary poor. Unfortunately there were two very young cafe members who provided no service and were very timid. Notably plonking the food down with no interaction with the customer. The environment feels a little cheap, notably the quality of the tables and the crockery. Similarly, it can be noisey as the seating area is small for the number of tables. In short, this is a 'Builders cafe' masquaring as a farm shop cafe. The little garden centre is cute and the ducks are amusing. Would not eat here again.
Lovely breakfast meal served until 11.30. Food very good, staff very polite and friendly. Well recommended even if not visiting the adjacent garden centre which is also well worth a visit. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Great location and lovely food, excellent cakes. Staff a bit slack, leave you standing at door waiting for table for a long time and just look over at you. Need some training and clear tables rather than standing around talking. They are friendly but lack customer service.
Buttery and creamy with fresh ham and orange to flavour! Real yummy variation to the traditional bacon Eggs B!
Great place for breakfast. Very tasty, everything you would expect for a good plate full. Well presented. Lovely kind staff. Then you can go buy some well looked after plants. Great place to visit. Thanks
