Stopped Cafe Roso yesterday whilst on a cycling event. Genuinely friendly reception and lovely food. Will happily return when next in the area.

Nice basic food. I had ham and mushroom omelette with salad followed by Apple pie and custard, 2 black coffees with cream. The staff were friendly and efficient when dealing with me. Child friendly with high chairs available. Toilet facility's on site. Can recommend this cafe
I am a local boy and have had the great pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment, all food is fresh prepared, staff cheerful and friendly, atmosphere warm and inviting, finally the food is perfect, highly recommend the tonka breakfast for a great feast, 5 stars
Ordered a cheddar mozzarella and chorizo panini. It was pathetic. Cheese wasn't melted. Was only cheddar not mozzarella. Chorizo was actually pepperoni. The female cook then came out and told me I was wrong and was quite aggressive. Ordered pancakes and Maple syrup, turned up with golden syrup. Got told to deal with it and there's no difference between the 2, again by the cook. Thankfully the server is amazing

Lovely friendly family run cafe, great service, value for money, great hot chocolate, lovely atmosphere and nothing to much trouble.
