Opposite the church with the crooked spire. Good tap selection of Raw and other breweries and a reasonable bottle selection. Free wifi. You can sit outside too. Recommended
We usually really enjoy the food here and I would of given it a 5 before last Sunday however the Sunday dinner wasn't as good as usual it didn't have as much variation, the meat was quite tough and the Yorkshire pudding wasn't actually cooked in the middle. When we've eaten here before the chips, burgers and paninis have always been excellent. If you drink coca cola though it never tastes like coke I believe it's a copy.
OMG I think I have just had the best cod and chips I have ever had, it was a large and thick and the chips was amazing. My 3year old granddaughter also cleared her plate and she is a picky eater. The staff are really nice to, we got to the White Swan just before it was open and it was raining they didn't leave us standing outside they let us in until opening time.
Great Food, Great Price, Great Staff! 2 for 1 Tuesdays are my fave. The burgers are by far the best in Chesterfield. The fact I can bring the dog with me makes it just that little bit more special. For those of you who don't want dogs around them I can't see why not they have a seating area dog free. Keep up the great work guys!
Nice pub with good service. Food was okay. Not the best quality steak but was well seasoned and cooked as I requested. Beer was good and prices were​ cheap. I would eat here again and would be happy to bring my family during the day.
Friendly and popular town pub. More quality beers, ciders and other drinks than you can shake a stick at. Food very good. 2-4-1 burger night until 7pm Tuesdays is popular. Occasional live music offerings at the weekend.
Attended a private event here. Great selection of drinks and some good food. Burgers proved popular are worth trying, and they're 2 for 1 on Tuesdays, which is even better. There's car parking right next to pub.
Attended a friend's party. The food was good but was later than we were told it would be served. Good selection of drinks and the function room is ok. No changing facilities so had to change my toddler's nappy on the floor of the disabled toilet.
Good food pub with a great selection of drinks too. Nice and airy space downstairs, and a function room upstairs. Friendly staff, tasty food and good big portions. I've been here a number of times and always enjoyed it.
Pleasant place, good selection of beers, mainly real ales, with a couple of mainstream! Expect to pay £3 plus for drinks! Good for a quiet drink, background music! OK for a relaxing!
