Story

Situated in the heart of Chesterfield town centre, No.10 The Tea Room was first established in 2010 as a Tea Room / Cook...shop. We are a successful family business, that offers a professional friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere for all our customers.

There’s no need to queue, we come to you! Our Tearoom is waitress service so after you have looked at a menu, you can order at your own pace, without feeling rushed.

From tea to teacakes, scones to Panini’s, No 10 The Tea Room is open 7 days a week.
All our products are sourced from local suppliers, such as our salads, cheeses and cakes. We believe in supporting the local community, and offering only the highest quality produce for our customers. We cater for all ages with our friendly staff ready and waiting to take your orders.

Our beverages are to die for!

We sell coffee, from Cappuccino to Espresso, or decaffeinated, to your simple Americano black or white.

Feeling like something a little bit naughty? Well we sell a devilishly good Luxury Italian Hot Chocolate with or without cream, chocolate flakes and marshmallows. You could even add Irish Cream or Toffee Crunch.

Being a popular tea room, we also sell tea beverages such as English Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey and Decaffeinated Tea too plus many more.

If hot drinks aren’t your thing and you need a refreshing cold drink, we sell a chilled refreshing orange juice or iced cold milk. Or why not have a Fentimans beverage such as a Shandy, Victorian Lemonade, Ginger Beer and many more. Not forgetting the little ones, we have Shmoo Milkshakes with or without cream and sprinkles, in either banana, strawberry or chocolate, which are all 98% fat free (without cream and sprinkles of course!) All our beverages are available to takeaway as well.

What an absolute little gem! We were staying in the Peak District and wanted to find a place for breakfast on our way home so stopped in Chesterfield. Absolutely gorgeous cafe/restaurant! Wonderful vibe. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great choice on the menu. The pancakes were divine! High quality food. Got busy quickly so clearly it's a great place to eat. The cake selection was hard to resist! Highly recommend
You definitely pay for what you get here the food is all freshly homemade to order, table service in the cafe and plenty of seating both inside and outside, I would recommend here if you want to support local businesses staff all friendly and welcomingFood: 5/5
What a lovely place! I've been a few times over the last couple of weeks, and the service, the food, the smiles, everything here is lovely! Whether i order a teacake or one of the lovely Quiche meals, the service is top-notch! By adding a bit of fruit to the side salad slices of grape, strawberry, pineapple and olive the basic salad is transformed! As for the Fruit Crumbles with ice cream for dessert, 10 out of 10 for 10!
Would not go back! Had jacket potato with tuna mayonnaise £10. The potato was small - med sized but well overcooked / re heated. The tuna did not seem to have any mayo in it, and overall tasteless and dry- I couldn’t eat it, had a free bites I tried but that was it! It came with a ‘hint’ of a side salad with a dressing . Overall a VERY poor food offering, I left feeling hungry still but also conned out of my hard earned money! Service was fine!
Was looking for somewhere to have breakfast in Chesterfield and stumbled across No. 10. A friendly welcome and a delicious breakfast. Well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
I have bee here before and had a great experience but my husband ordered fish and chips. It was a disaster of frozen battered fish, dark brown soggy batter, grey small quantity of fish inside just horrible. They replaced with a cheese sandwich on badly cut bread and the amount of cheese was tiny. I would not go again and the cost was £29 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. Another customer showed me her bread with soup. Rock hard bread stale and impossible to eat. A shame
Food delicious Lovely ambience Staff fantastic Very child friendly Kid-friendliness: They were fantastic with my granddaughter 4 yrs will definitely be returning Wheelchair accessibility: Two entrances one wheelchair friendly
Nice chill Cafe with great food and back yard. We had a fabulous family lunch time there. I would love to go back again. One small thing,it is quite sad to get only one scone in the plate only. Most of the place we went, they come with two scones.
Expensive & served less than what it states on the menu. I ordered the Full English, it was one of the smallest full English breakfasts I've ever had. Also the menu states it comes with "a Derbyshire Oatcake" but was actually served half an Oatcake. Overall based on this and the price at £12 for a full English just not that impressed, very small and over priced. At the cost I would if expected the full Oatcake at least, as it states on the menu. Staff were friendly and polite.
Service is really slow, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is great to have a chat for an hour or too. Tasty coffee, delicious desserts. Clean and cozy. Would come again and would recommend visiting if you’re looking for a chill place to have brunch or snack.
