Superb food. Great ambience and amazing service. Super helpful and happy staff especially Milly, Atlanta and Chef Aled. First class food. Very happy and reasonable prices. You can enter to win as well they do lots of offers for customers.

Went last Sunday for the parent folk festival. The location is great, so much outdoor seating so perfect for race day and/or good weather. The play area here was so good, the kids played for ages before and after we ate. Service was a bit unorganised considering it was a big event and they should be used to hosting so many people during the racing festival. This is likely due to poor staffing. Can’t fault the food it was lovely, I had a steak roast which was so good. Lovely carrot and swede mash, the roasties where lovely & the Yorkshire pudding on the top was massive. Kids menu / meals where great options and well priced for the location. Will 100% come back with the kids in the summer for a lovely roast and a few drinks in the beer garden.

Dave and his team are wonderful, we have used them for our work functions and they are truly fantastic. The venue is beautiful and they always go above and beyond for us. The staff on the night are exceptional and food is delicious.

Very nice meal, staff were ok. We really didn't appreciate sitting looking at the bins or "toilets this way" sign, but my brother hates complaining so we put up with it.

2020.01 update: I’ve just had the best steak ever here followed by the best ever waffle! The garlic bread wasn’t that garlicky though Nice fish and chips, free car park, actually I’ve never been disappointed with food here

Always love going to the White Horse. I guess its a hidden gem in Chestee. Not enough people know about it. We just had our staff xmas meal there on Friday 23rd and the value for money, food and service were all top. Love this place and it will be a big loss to Chester

Meet a group of new friends before Christmas and enjoyed their festive fair. Nice atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Recently held a funeral wake for 40 people here. Excellent communication beforehand regarding choosing a buffet and numbers. The location is stunning with ample parking and disabled facilities plus within close proximity to Chester Crematorium. We were given the conservatory area which offered a perfect private area and plenty of space for everyone. The food was plentiful and excellent quality with unlimited tea and coffee. The staff were very attentive providing table service for drinks whilst also being very polite and friendly. Thank you.

Food and service outstanding, if they were to invest in patio heaters would be better. We were lucky on the day with the weather, but be advised that you may need to wrap up warm or bring your own blanket. Katsu Chicken and Lamb Kofta
