"The White Hart in Chobham is believed to date from the 1500's, and is one of the oldest properties in the village. The timber frame of the property is built around a pair of shops standing at right angles to the road, and the original inn had stabling for six horses behind. The bar sits, as it should do, right at the heart of things and the character of this venerable old hostelry really shines through. We have open fires, rugs and good honest furniture, everything you need for a classic British pub."

A very good pub, great service from the team. And the food was great. I cannot recommend it high enough. I was hungry when we dripped in.foe.Sunday lunch and it definitely tasted great and I was replete! There were four in our party, my mother in law, wife and adult son and all of us could find what we desired on the menu and all.of us were very pleased with what was served. The waitress was great and the guys who brought the food were very pleasant and appropriately engaging. The fellow diners and drinkers were very much about their own business and ot was a food place to eat friendly and a super environment. I will return again. Have been back... And consistently great service nothing to add this is a super place
Stopped for just desserts at 6:30 on a Wednesday, were seated quickly in the restaurant without a pre-booking. His Sticky toffee pudding was pleasant but not amazing, not loads of toffee-flavour in the sauce it was quite subtle but nice enough. My "Hot waffle with banana and toffee" was actually a "lukewarm waffle", but all the banana and toffee extras were sweet and tasty as I'd hoped for. Alcohol free options included 3 x AF gins, including a spicy one that I enjoyed. Has an on-site car park for patrons with lots of spaces but the entrance is narrow; if you're not confident or if you've a wide car so want to be careful, you might find it easier to turn right into it than turning left into it, as you've a better line of sight from the right-turn position. Toilets; ladies are upstairs, not sure if they have an accessible toilet elsewhere. Gents downstairs. Some artwork in the gents was not to my partners taste but he says the toilets were clean. Staff were pleasant, when I asked what was the best thing about Chobham our waiter said the White Hart, nicely played. The Women's Rugby team and plenty of outside space featured in our discussion. We stopped here instead of a Services between motorways and it was brilliant for that. Overall a pleasant experience at a fair price; it's not outstanding, but I would recommend it.
Fantastic pub and restaurant. We were traveling home and stopped on the off chance due to massive delays on the motorways and we're thrilled and delighted with the friendly service and delicious food. I had the crab and prawn linguini which was fantastic and my wife had a vegetarian Gnocchi which was really good aswell. The food for the little lad 2 years old was very good as well, much better than the normal sausage beans and chips most places dish up. The pub/restaurant was very clean and tidy and beautifully decorated as well. Amazing place and definitely worth a visit if your in the area
Excellent! Perfect wine, perfect cheese selection. We are lovers of cheese boards with a perfect wine, and they served us the one you can see below, we wanted to be able to enjoy a chat with our wine and cheese. The wine cellar very appropriate for the place, the truth is that both the attentive staff and the homey pub was lovely, would definitely recommend the place, just check it out. Is the place as I have described right?.............. Enjoy the visit,that will be lovely.
Eaten here twice, very good Sunday roast today and a good selection of pub classics nicely made on the rest of the menu. Love the padron peppers and halloumi for starters, some interesting wines well priced.
Lovely pub, very cosy and welcoming. Our roast dinner was the best we have had out, we were absolutely delighted with it! Service was impeccable, very attentive and always with a smile. We are very much looking forward to return very soon!
Amazing food, RUMP STEAK sani is best I ever had, falls apart in your mouth, perfectly juicy, bread great, garnish great, even the chips is really good!! Friendly stuff and lovely pretty pub! Highly recommend it! Food came fast too.
It was a lovely experience, particularly as we were there a bit earlier at noon for a Sunday roast. It was lovely whilst it was a bit quieter and we had a great table tucked away in the corner. Really enjoyed it - not inexpensive but as long as the costs mean the sourcing of ingredients is done responsibly and ethically, that's fine.
Not very crowded at 7pm on a thursday but filled up gradually. a nice friendly atmosphere in the bar. Excellent service food to match A very pleasant experience all round. A notch above the usual pub fare. Would recommend.
We had a great Mother's Day lunch at The White Hart yesterday. The food was excellent, and we just felt really relaxed and comfortable. Great service and no stress! Thank you, we will definitely be back!
