Delicious Super attentive staff; squeezed us in although it was super busy and we hadn’t booked - seems like it gets packed so best to book in advance. Food was great. They have the option to order smaller portions which is ideal if you’re like me and want a 3 course meal but can’t manage it all! Recommend the squid or pulled pork starters, and the sticky toffee pudding. The American pancakes were basic shop bought? Both mains were nice.
We booked a big table for 18 people and had a nice time. Service was cheery and very helpful. The building and tables are attractive and create a nice place to eat. Food and prices are what you would expect from a surrey gastropub what that means depends on your wallet and food expectations!. Mains were generally good excellent Yorkshire puddings although some desserts could have been better at least on this occasion. One quick tip, read the menu carefully as the veggie roast is the normal roast without the meat.
I had a wonderful meal and service. I ordered the roasted lamb and it was delicious. The sauce was classic and the presentation was simple but intentional. Even though I’m just a tourist, I absolutely enjoyed my meal and would love to come back. They have a fantastic outdoor space too.
A wonderful country dining experience. Food was 10/10. Lamb rump was cooked perfectly. Cocktails are well worth looking at. The 'nothing' was really good! I couldn't fault this venue at all. Still table service and even with only 2 or 3 girls they totally handled the crowed. If your on a motorbike, watch out for the plant pots and little logs on your way up to the front entrance used to stop cars parking in certain spots as they are sturdy but small and will throw you off your wheels if you don't see them! Will be returning to try the rest of those amazing cocktails ASAP!
I had the cajun chicken sandwich with ciabatta bun, it was very nice service was very good fish finger sandwich was also good. The chicken schnitzel was very most and tastie. Always good food served here.

Stopped in on the way to our hotel. The bar was warm and inviting, the menu offered a wide range and the beers were cold. The restaurant and back garden were stunning, A really pretty place being sat anywhere inside or out. Will 100% be back
Lovely old pub, just sort out your heating when it's cold, because it was very cold. Food was alright Mushroom starter tasted ok, just lacked seasoning and was served on a freezing cold plate. Parsnip risotto was a risotto with parsnip chunks in it, could have added some parsnip crisps for texture, parsnip puree to enhance the risotto. Root veg soup was blended but not enough, A blended soup should be smooth and a chunky soup should be perfectly cubed, nothing in-between. All of these problems can be fixed by the chef's with no more effort. The Guinness was really good. Service was great. Attention to detail with all aspects of the food makes food great instead of good.

Words cannot truly express our gratitude to Justine and his team. We gave him the unenviable task of arranging our wedding reception with a mere 2 weeks notice! The attention to every detail, the food, both in the afternoon and in the evening, was sensational. The intimacy and exclusivity of the Four Horseshoes as a venue for our special day far exceeded not only expectations, but those of every single guest who attended. Highly, highly recommended!
