A fantastic Sunday lunch, booked a table for 4 , I a vegan .n4 different plates all really delicious. All Sunday Roasts . 4 meats to choose from Beef, Gammon, Turkey or Lamb , 2 had a combination of 3 meats , 1 had beef and 1 vegan .nVery tasty , presentation was great , vegetables came separately in various dishes plus extra gravy and condiments. Dessert after for 3 a raspberry cheesecake & a biscoff cheesecake both very tasty . Fantastic service . A wonderful meal , great atmosphere. Recommende it's a great place to eat at .
Turned up unannounced with a party of five, while we weren't able to be seated immediately it wasn't more than about five minutes. My friends enjoyed the wine, I had cocktails, but was disappointed they wouldn't make a Sex On The Beach. Prawn cocktail was presented unusually but very tasty, lamb shank was excellent. Fully recommend the food, but it was a bit slow to arrive. Staff were very pleasant. The life-size cardboard Jeremy Clarkson was rather off-putting.
Lovely family meal. Delicious home cooked food, great service and a lovely cosy relaxed atmosphere. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the puddings are absolutely delicious, and all homemade!
Absolutely amazing food some of the best I have tasted waitress was lovely with the kids also.
First tome visiting the white bear...the restaurant was lovely nicely decorated throughout..was greeted by a young waitress and taken to put table even though we were early ...we got asked straight away what drinks we would like and a menu was given to use to choose from we all choose a Sunday dinner which was delicious home made toast potatoes in goose fat ...home made Yorkshire puds and 4 slices of meat beef and gammon I had home made gravy too separate dish with vegetables in it which whre broccoli carrots and cabbage we choose to gave a cauliflower cheese too and mashed potatoes there were 3 of us I can stay the food was amazing the service and everything about it would highly recommend and will be back.
