Lovely local pub. Wonderful real fire blazing away. Fantastic warm welcome from the bar staff and locals. Throughly recommend
Quaint pub: low ceilings, open fire, traditional decor. Very friendly reception, good beer and homemade food. Not gastropub fare. The food was fresh & wouldn't grace the cover of a magazine, but it tasted delicious & was a good size portion. Much more important in my opinion.
Very friendly, hospitable pub, spotlessly clean; landlord & landlady made us welcome from the offset. Great community spirit; nice to chat to locals. Will try out food next visit.
Lovely little country pub. Great atmosphere and friendly bar staff
