The Wellington Inn is one of my favorite places. Located in Old Welwyn, England, the inn dates to 1352... heck, it's pre-Medieval. Great place to stay, great food, super people.

Charming place, very good covid system in place. Excellent fish and chips. Accommodated us as walk-in without any fuss.

Great to see the pub back open! Staff doing a great job with the new way of serving. Food was well cooked and simply served who wants a fancy garnish anyway?!. Not the cheapest lunch out, but fair pricing and happy to support.

Service was slow, had sausage and mash, sausages weren't great, gravy was watery, no caramelized onions, although mentioned on the menu, sparse amount of peas, mash nothing great either. For £14.95 I expected better, won't be back and will not recommend.
